Background
The City of Rossland, through consultation with various parties, has developed guidelines for the regulation of short term rentals in the three “zones” within the city, at Red Mountain Base Area, the “Old Rossland” city area and Redstone development area. To aid purchasers of property or homeowners in these areas that are considering short term rentals as a means of income, we have assembled some links to the various resources offered by the City of Rossland.
Short Term Rental regulations are ever evolving at all levels of government. Rossland began regulating short term rentals in 2016, staff and Council regularly review and update the regulations as required.
